Our Mission

TU-FAB exists to make Europe a global leader in advanced computing technology.

We bring together ambitious students, researchers, and engineers to develop computing hardware—from GPUs, and AI accelerators to memory systems and chip architectures, and eventually semiconductor manufacturing.

The ambition extends across the whole stack: designing chips and bringing them to silicon, and creating the compilers, software, and infrastructure that make them useful.

We believe important technological work can begin with small teams that have the freedom and determination to build.

Our starting point is reproducible engineering. Our longer-term ambition is to help lay the foundations for Europe's next computing leaders.
